Wisconics

You've heard the term Ebonics, well here in Wisconsin we have Wisconics.  Everywhere I go people tell me that they can really tell that I have an accent.  While it's not as thick as those from the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) or Canada ('eh), it is still distinguishable.  For those of you who are not familiar with how we speak in the midwest, or more specifically in Wisconsin I decided to compile a list of common words and phrases that we use and their meanings.  Hope you all get a good laugh and learn something from this.

-You Guys Comin' Wit, Er No?
You Guys Coming With, Or No? -- We want to know if you're going to come with us somewhere

-C'mere real quick once
Come Here Real Quick -- We want you to come over by us quickly. Who knows why we add the 'Once' at the end of it, we're obviously going to ask you to come back over again.

-Stop-N-Go Lights
Stop And Go Lights -- You might call them Stop Lights, but here in Wisconsin we're optimistic and know that eventually we're going to GO.

-Bubbler
Water Fountain -- We call it a bubbler, because well...  That's what it does

-Cheese an Rice
It's the super polite way to say Jesus Chr!ist

-Fer Da Love A Mike
For The Love of Mike -- We really don't know who Mike is, but we try not to bring up religion because that's one of the 2 cardinal topics to NOT discuss when drinking and let's face it, we're always drinking or not far from a beer.

-A Couple Two Tree
A Couple, Two, Three -- We're not really sure how much we want, but if you give us a handful you're probably pretty close.

-Tyme Machine
TYME Machine -- Ok, so to you it's an ATM, but here in WI they used to be called TYME Machines which stands for Take Your Money Everywhere. They don't have those signs on them anymore, but we can't stop using the term.

-Ope
It’s like saying oops, but without the commitment of the fourth letter.  Most often said when you bump into someone or something, or even have a near hit and quickly get out of their way “OPE”.  Maybe you say it too.  If you do, I guarantee that you will notice it from here on out.

Error 404: Blog Post Not Found??

Yes, you read that right, Blog Post not found. Rather posts, more specifically, NONE of them. I guess I finally fell into the category of people that should not be allowed to blog, or at least not use an app that is supposed to make all of this easier from my iPad.  Most of my posts are typed late at night, and no one wants to get an alert in the middle of the night that I made another post, so I would always schedule the post to be posted later the following morning at a decent time.  The only catch is that for some reason the year in the scheduler was set to 2020. *Insert Face Palm* That's right, all of my blog posts were typed and scheduled, but not for about another 2 years. I think it would be counterproductive to go and post ALL of them at the same time (even I would get annoyed if someone did that on a social media account that I was following).
