Wisconics

You've heard the term Ebonics, well here in Wisconsin we have Wisconics.  Everywhere I go people tell me that they can really tell that I have an accent.  While it's not as thick as those from the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) or Canada ('eh), it is still distinguishable.  For those of you who are not familiar with how we speak in the midwest, or more specifically in Wisconsin I decided to compile a list of common words and phrases that we use and their meanings.  Hope you all get a good laugh and learn something from this. -You Guys Comin' Wit, Er No? You Guys Coming With, Or No? -- We want to know if you're going to come with us somewhere -C'mere real quick once Come Here Real Quick -- We want you to come over by us quickly. Matt Miller - The WisconnieYachty Now that I've gotten my first ever blog post out of the way I thought that I should post a little bio and let you all know who I am. I am a Wisconsin Native, born and raised.  The past 2 decades I have been in Public Safety from Ski Patrol at a nearby ski hill to being a Firefighter, AEMT (Advanced EMT), and 911 Dispatcher.  I am an avid boater in the summer months (May-September here in Wisconsin) and love being outdoors.  I have always had a strong interest in traveling and being out on the boats.  I currently own a 24' Cuddy Cabin as well as a 16' Jet Boat (for fun). I'm out on the water every chance that I get. Recently I saw a quote that said "If you want to be successful in this world, you have to follow your passion, not a paycheck." And that's when I decided to leave the world of Public Safety and pursue my passion of boating / yachting. This Blog, along with the associated Social Media accounts

For my first ever blog post I thought it only fitting to use a well known phrase from the movie Tommy Boy staring the late Chris Farley who is a Wisconsin Native himself in my title. I would like to welcome each and every one of my followers (even the ones who are secretly spying with prying eyes).  For those of you who don't know me I feel it only appropriate to disclose the following: *Disclaimer: You are reading this blog at your own risk.  You are not being forced to and are not in any way required to continue reading at any point in time.  This blog is not for those who are faint of heart, have a cardiac history, may be pregnant, suffer from rectal-cranial inversion (head up ass) syndrome, have thin skin, don't understand sarcasm, feel the need to be politically correct (it's Merry fucking Christmas) all the time, or require a participation trophy for every even that you participate in.  YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Now that we've gotten that out of the way, "
